Since my last report I have been quite busy with the band whereby we have toured the Maritimes and, just recently Labrador City and Goose Bay where the temperature was quite low as oppose to mainland Newfoundland. As usual though, the people in Labrador treated us like kings. The invitations from fans for a meal or two was quite outstanding, of which I want to tank you. Apart from the above, just to mention we did 5 sold out shows in Grand Falls. I was blown away with the number of young … [Read More...]

The crowd that was hand gave him such an applause that the whole town teary ide as they were felt the spiritual conviction looming beyond the horizon. Toronto Subway Early in Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers career, say late 80's or early 90's we were returning from a friends home in Toronto when it was time to head back to our place of destination by means of travelling on the subway. While on the train I noticed that some of the people on board looked a bit grim and didn't appear to be too happy. I hinted to by two cohorts Kevin and Wayne about this and they immediately suggested that I take out the accordion and play a piece or … [Read More...]

''Thinking with your pen in hand will get to the heart of your subject''. Words by Oswald Chambers Of all the things I have come to know and experience, the story of resettlement has to be the most significant impact on me. Therefore, it's for this reason I sing, play, perform and recite her parises of this wonderful place we call Newfoundland and Labrador. Again, as a follow-up, I wish to include a short story about an elderly gentleman (now deceased) who, when asked if he would be … [Read More...]
Melody

I realize that 'Music Unlimited' speaks volumes, especially where 'Melody' is invloved. At the same time, I cannot say the same thing as relating to present-day Rap music, only to mention that the Cap worn by the so called Rappers has created an imagine whereby the thought of 'Melody' has been shot to the one side, thus leaving the music world in a two-way frenzy. Re: the Cap Routine, should Buddy Wasisname take on this role, I'm sure he would do a fabulous character without having to omit … [Read More...]
